✈️ Our international team members from Portugal and South Africa flew to Newbury, while our French colleagues joined us by boat. This diverse gathering set the stage for a week filled with enriching workshops designed to enhance our roadmap and current services. These sessions fostered a global approach to various business areas, reflecting our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
👬👭One of the standout moments of the event was our annual team-building activity, which featured an exhilarating "Mission Impossible" theme. Teams were tasked with completing a series of challenging missions to disable a final "bomb." The blue team emerged victorious, showcasing the critical role of communication in achieving team success. We have also organised a 6 AM run to help our charity of the year.
💙The event also marked a significant leadership transition. We bid a heartfelt farewell to our esteemed Colonel Kelvin Chaffer and extended a warm welcome to our new CEO, Liz Parry. This momentous occasion was celebrated with prosecco and hugs, highlighting the close-knit culture of our Lifecycle culture.
🍝 Our main dinner at Mio Fiore was a culinary delight, featuring delectable Italian cuisine. With our stomachs satisfied, we returned to the office to cheer on England as they secured their place in the EURO semi-finals. The night ended on a high note with everyone dancing to the "Macarena," adding a festive touch to the celebrations.
The morning after was difficult, but seeing everyone in person reinforced the strong sense of community and shared purpose within Lifecycle Software.
As we reflect on this incredible week, we look forward to many more successful events and continued growth together. Here's to the Lifecycle Software team and the exciting journey ahead!
