As the year wraps up, I’ve been reflecting on what 2024 has meant for Lifecycle Software. It’s been a solid year, and for me personally, a big milestone—I stepped into the CEO role after 10 years in several roles at the company. It’s been a learning experience, and I’m thankful for the support from my colleagues, our team, and everyone we work with.
Key highlights from 2024 include:
- The launch of NEXUS®, an MVNE platform that enables any brand to launch as an MVNO in industry-leading timescales. Nexus is already being used by leading operators to bring connectivity and an excellent user experience to millions of people, you can see more here;
- Enhanced user interfaces across all front ends, including MultiOrder CRM, Sales Portal, and CCS;
- Introduced Marketing Consultancy Services to support our customers’ growth strategies;
- Achieved two Open API certifications from TM Forum: TMF620 (Product Catalog) and TMF622 (Product Order Management);
- We were proud winners of the Transform Award for "Best Brand Identity" and the MVNO Nation Award for "Most Innovative Billing Solution";
Our team has been able to progress our roadmap of innovation with a data-driven approach and automation throughout. In total, our R&D team delivered 156 improvements and developed around 363 new features this year.
At Lifecycle Software, we believe in a bright future for telecoms and are committed to supporting and shaping its evolution. One way we achieve this is by contributing to industry research. This year, we supported OMDIA in the report "Telecom Billing Vendor Survey: Cloud Nativeness, Pre-integrations, and Time to Deploy" and were featured as a future leader in Juniper Research's "Global MVNO-in-a-Box Market: 2024-2029" report.
Our people are our greatest strength, and 2024 has been a testament to this. This year, we recognised the incredible contributions of our team through the Values of Lifecycle Award, celebrating employees who exemplify the core principles that drive us forward. Along the year we came together as a team to raise over £4,000 for our Charity of the Year.
At Lifecycle, we’re proud to power the next generation of innovators. In 2024, we hosted placements, a micro-placement, and T Level students, providing young talent with real-world opportunities to grow and thrive. A key success story is how these programs have contributed to our team: 41% of placement students have gone on to become full-time employees at Lifecycle Software.
The year ahead brings opportunities to continue improving, growing, and supporting our customers. At Lifecycle Software, we’re focused on driving the telecoms industry forward and staying true to what we stand for.
Here’s to 2025—thank you for being part of the journey.
